What to Expect from a Garden Consultation

So what all is included in a consultation and what can you expect? Great questions!

Once we get to your home, we’ll want to get to know you and your space. What do you want to grow? Why do you want a garden? Is it because you want to learn to garden? Need a new hobby? Maybe you don’t want to do the physical work of gardening or have time to do it, but you do want year-round access to organic fruit, vegetables, and herbs right outside your back door. Whatever your reasons for deciding this is your year to start growing, we’re thankful you are letting us be a part of making this dream a reality.

We'll help you find the perfect spot for your garden based on what you want to grow. We’ll assess the sun patterns in your yard to make sure your garden will get enough sunlight and make sure we have access to irrigation or your sprinkler system.

We’ll talk about a garden design, pick out materials for your garden boxes, make gravel selections, and talk about trellis options.

Your consultant will take photos and measurements of the proposed garden site.

Before we leave we answer any other questions you may have about gardening or any other areas in your yard where you have landscaping needs. Did you know we also design and install pollinator spaces and plant berries and fruit trees?

After we leave your home, we design a garden for your space and put together an itemized estimate. This usually takes about a week.

We’ll see you soon!
