The Monarch Community celebrated Mother’s Day in style with Traveling Spirit Mobile Bar! We learned to make garden-fresh cocktails just in time for summer and how to make a patio cocktail garden!

At each event, the Monarch Team gives a tour of the garden. You’ll get to see what’s growing each month in Houston.
The team teaches our community about a garden topic pertinent to what’s growing each month. This month it was all about growing cocktail herbs and peppers!
We taught how to assemble and care for a patio cocktail garden! You can grow an entire cocktail garden in a pot. Cocktail gardens are a great starter-garden!
We snacked on light-bites from the garden. We feature seasonal, garden-inspired recipes at each of our events! We love bringing the garden to the table!
At each event, we also partner with another local business owner or wellness expert so we’re constantly learning and being exposed to creative ways to bring the garden to the table, grow in community with one another, and live a healthier, happier life.
This month - we partnered with Traveling Spirit Mobile Bar to learn how to make cocktails with ingredients straight from the garden!
Traveling Spirit Mobile Bar wowed us with three garden-fresh cocktail demonstrations. Rachel, owner of Traveling Spirit, is a culinary genius who pours all her passion into creating craft cocktails from fresh, seasonal ingredients.
We learned to make a Rosemary Paloma, Lavender French 75, and a Cucumber Martini! Not to be dramatic, but the room audibly gasped after we tasted each drink. They were insanely delicious!
